Azzurra is deeply linked to the Tyrrhenian Sea, which supplies the freshest fish every day. This company from Piombino personally knows fishermen and suppliers operating on the coast. This allows the guarantee of a product that meets high standards in matter of quality and food safety.
Azzurra sells products coming from different parts of the world, but the Tyrrhenian fish (Liguria, Tuscany and Lazio) is the priority, and therefore the Company’s specialization. Azzurra also offers branded fish products, both fresh and frozen.
Azzurra Gel frozen products are the result of a careful selection of fresh fish, in order to ensure the maintenance of the nutritional and organoleptic characteristics. Azzurra inside its plant is equipped with a freezing tunnel for the bulk product and an I.Q.F. with a production capacity of 20 thousand kilos per day. Under the Azzurra Gel brand, high quality fish products are then frozen and packaged: blue fish from the local lamparas and fish from the Tyrrhenian paranze.
Azzurra sells a line of branded products, the flagship of the Company: soaked cod, clams, lupins, snails, sconcigli, mussels from the Tyrrhenian Sea and oysters selected for the Piombino company in a small farm in the south of France. Direct control over two shipping centers on the Tyrrhenian coast, where Azzurra’s representatives check and select the seafood, allows us to offer a product with a guaranteed brand both in terms of safety and quality.
